Panthers to host regional

The No. 26 Drury women's tennis team picked up a 7-2 non-conference road win at Northwest Missouri State University on Saturday.
The Panthers (20-4) rallied after being down 2-1 after doubles with a 8-6 victory at No. 1 by Katia Bon and Chandra Capozzi. The Bearcats won No. 2 doubles 8-4 and took No. 3 doubles 8-6. Drury swept Northwest in singles play for their 20th win of the year. Anna Lustig 3-6, 6-3(10-8) and Lindsey Castrodale 6-2, 6-1 were among the winners. With the defeat the Bearcats fell to 16-5.
The Panthers return to action May 8 at 1 p.m. when they will host Northern Kentucky University in the first round of the NCAA tournament at Cooper Tennis Complex.
