The Drury University soccer Panthers defeated Saint Joseph's 4-1 in a Great Lakes Valley Conference match at Drury on Friday evening.

The Panthers, now 9-3 overall and 6-2 in the GLVC, led two nothing at the half with a goal by Tyson Bramley eleven minutes in and penalty kick by Ben Taylor at the 25:51 mark. Taylor assisted on Bramley's goal.

The Pumas pulled to within 2-1 on a penalty kick 12 minutes into the second half by Bojan Adler, but Panther goals by Taylor Stacy at 66:38 and Marco Cherisma at 82:33 (Micah Whorton assist) helped Drury seal the win.

Drury junior keeper Logan Hoffman had six saves.

On Sunday the Panthers built a 4-0 lead but let it slip away, as Wisconsin-Parkside scored two goals in the final five minutes of regulation and forged a 4-4, double-overtime tie in Great Lakes Valley Conference men's soccer action.
